AQUARIUM BASICS MEDICATED CARE: 

When adding any form of chemicals whether it is medicated or water treatment great care must be taken to insure that you do not harm any plants or fish. Make sure that you correctly diagnose the given problem and treat it with the correct product. Most aquarium treatments take time to take effect. Do not be tempted to exceed treatment instruction to speed up cure. It will have the opposite effect. Be patient and give it time.  

PRODUCT TREATMENT:

FUNGALEX HI-CARE is a 6 day course for the treatment of White Spot and Fungus infections. It is used to control all protozoan and fungal infections, such as white-spot, fungus, neon tetra disease, velvet, costiasis and trichodiniasis. 

DIAGNOSIS GUIDE:

White Spot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) is one of the most common diseases in ornamental fish. In the UK it is usually referred to as ‘spot’. The American nickname of ‘ick/ich’ is also occasionally used. The fish have numerous white spots, like grains of salt, scattered on the body and fins. Always use aquarium test kits to monitor your water conditions as water quality can be the primary cause of stress and disease in fish.  

PRIMARY CAUSE:

Stress and poor water quality are the main causes of ich eruptions. Always check fish’s health before purchasing to prevent contamination. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

The full course of treatment entails 3 separate applications. By adding the treatment on days 1, 3 and 6, the product strength increases safely and will not burden your already stressed fish.

TREATMENT DOSAGE RATIO:

Add 1ml per 30 litres (10 drops per 15 litres), of aquarium water on days 1, 3 and 6.

WARNING:

Do not use it when Rays, Mormyrids, Sturgeon/Sterlets, Snails, Shrimps or related species are present.

PRECAUTIONARY WARNING: 

Only use the product as specified. Handle with care. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wash with running water. Eye contact wash with running water for 15 minutes. Harmful if swallowed. If swallowed, induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately.  .
