The range runs from 60W up to 250W, so there is a model for a modest feature or for a more demanding fountain or pond set-up.

Key Benefits

Robust, efficient water flow for a wide range of fountain and pond requirements

Four models to choose from, covering different power, flow and lift needs

Suited to a calm garden pond or a livelier fountain display

Rated for 220V to 240V at 50/60Hz

Most of the range is built in stainless steel (the WP-9900 is the exception, see below)

How to Use

Before choosing a model, check how the pump's flow and lift figures work in practice. They are quoted separately and are not achieved at the same time.

Flow and height are linked: the maximum flow rate and the maximum head height do not mean the pump delivers maximum flow at maximum height. At maximum height, these pumps produce a 0 L/H flow. Choose a pump with some margin over the lift your set-up needs.

Pipe thickness matters: pipe thickness affects head height, and thicker pipes need a stronger pump for effective lift. Consider the pipe size in your set-up and choose a pump that meets those requirements.

Safety: always follow safety guidelines and double-check the specifications to make sure the pump is the right fit before you install it.

Suitable For

Garden ponds

Fountains and other water features

Aquariums

Compatibility

Electrical: 220V to 240V, 50/60Hz

Plumbing: match the pump to your pipe size, as thicker pipe needs a stronger pump to achieve effective lift

Specifications

Voltage: 220V to 240V

Frequency: 50/60Hz

Type: submersible

Construction: stainless steel (WP-9900 is non-stainless steel)

Available Sizes

Available in the following models:

WP-9200: 60W power, 2400L/H flow, 3m max height

WP-9600: 80W power, 3200L/H flow, 3.5m max height

WP-9900 (Non-Stainless Steel): 105W power, 5000L/H flow, 5m max height

WP-10800: 250W power, 8000L/H flow, 5.5m max height

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the pump deliver its maximum flow at its maximum height?
No. The maximum flow and maximum height figures are separate ratings. At maximum height, these pumps produce a 0 L/H flow, so allow some margin in your set-up.

Does pipe thickness affect performance?
Yes. Pipe thickness affects head height, and thicker pipes need a stronger pump for effective lift. Check your pipe size before choosing a model.

Are all the models made of stainless steel?
Not all of them. The WP-9900 is the non-stainless steel model in the range. The other models are the stainless steel versions.

Which model has the highest flow and lift?
The WP-10800 is the most powerful, at 250W, 8000L/H flow and 5.5m max height.

What electrical supply do these pumps need?
They are rated for 220V to 240V at 50/60Hz. Make sure your supply falls within that range.

Which model should I choose for my pond or fountain?
Start with the height you need to lift the water and the pipe size you are using, then pick a model whose flow and max height comfortably exceed those needs. The range runs from 2400L/H and 3m max height up to 8000L/H and 5.5m max height.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0151/9016/3510/products/sobo-stainless-steel-submersible-water-pump-model-wp-9200-60w-2400l-h-flow.jpg?v=1743756222
