The HS chiller operates with a quieter performance and boasts superior heat dissipation capabilities compared to the HC chiller. Its design is more streamlined, featuring reduced dimensions in both length and width. However, it stands significantly taller than its HC series counterpart of equivalent power. Before upgrading to the HS chiller from the HC chiller, it's crucial to verify that it will accommodate your aquarium cabinet's dimensions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While these chillers are capable of cooling aquarium water to 18 degrees Celsius, they are not intended for "plunge" or "ice bath" applications. Their design is specifically for aquarium cooling purposes.
