Aquavitro Reef Eight.Four is a concentrated marine aquarium buffer from Seachem’s aquavitro range, formulated to safely raise pH while increasing alkalinity in reef aquaria. It is ideal for marine and reef keepers needing to restore a disrupted carbonate/bicarbonate buffer system and maintain a stable pH of 8.3–8.5.

How to Use
Use 5 mL per 80 L of aquarium water daily until the pH has stabilised at the desired level. Stabilisation can take from one day to one week, depending on the original pH, alkalinity and condition of the aquarium’s buffer system. Once stable, dose as needed to maintain pH.

Dosage
Each standard 5 mL dose per 80 L raises alkalinity by 0.25 meq/L, or 0.7 dKH. Do not exceed the recommended dose without testing pH and alkalinity. Total alkalinity should not exceed 6 meq/L.

Compatibility
Aquavitro Reef Eight.Four can be dosed daily and may be used within minutes of aquavitro calcification™, balance™ and ions™. If alkalinity has reached 6 meq/L but pH remains below 8.20, check magnesium levels. Use ions™ if magnesium is low. Where magnesium is already within the optimal range, balance™ may be used to raise pH without increasing alkalinity.
