Dophin Canister Filters
Dophin Canister Filters are used for setting up a water filtration system in aquariums, utilizing filter matting and requiring additional filter media sold separately.
Setup Instructions:
- To set up, screw the two valve taps onto the threaded connectors of the pump marked IN / OUT.
- Cut the hose to the required length and make sure that they do not bend and fix them tightly to the valve taps. Secure the hose connectors on both taps by screwing the union nuts tightly.
- The other end of the hose from “IN” valve tap connect to inlet pipe and the “OUT” hose from OUT valve tap connect to rain bar.
- To start, press the pump knob at least 4-5 times to vacuum the air from the filter body and fill up the water. Stop pressing the pump knob when the outlet pipe is filled with water, then plug on to electric supply to start the filtering system.

Sold Separately: Ceramic Rings, Activated Carbon and Bio Media.
Please note these models do not come with a UV.
