Small plants, big success. 1•2•Grow! offers very young plants cultivated and delivered directly from our laboratory. They are guaranteed free of snails, algae, and pesticides, making them completely safe for sensitive shrimp and fish. Our range includes many unique plants.

Success with your aquarium largely depends on choosing the right plants. Each 1•2•Grow! cup contains numerous small plants that can be divided into portions to cover a larger area. The plants are compact from the start, so with proper fertiliser and CO2 they form dense, attractive growth. The collection is ideal for small and medium aquariums — your patience will be rewarded.

We offer several mosses and specialty species such as Rotala macrandra and Rotala 'Bonsai', plus mini versions of classic varieties like Alternanthera and Eleocharis. Watch our handling video or follow the steps below:

  • Remove the plants from the cup and gently rinse off the growing media under running water.  
  • Divide the plants into 6–8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors (recommended for small foreground plants).  
  • Plant each portion into the substrate using tweezers, then watch them grow!
