Description
Dymax Base Soil
Dymax Base Soil is a planted aquarium substrate that helps create an ideal environment for healthy aquatic plant growth. It maintains a suitable pH, lowers water hardness and supplies trace elements for plants. It suits anyone setting up a planted tank, and keepers of fish that need soft water.
Key Benefits
- Helps lower the hardness of the aquarium water.
- Helps bring the pH down to a level at which most aquatic plants can take up nutrients and grow comfortably.
- Reaches and maintains the proper pH quickly.
- Provides the trace elements plants need for growth and enhances root development.
- Does not cloud the water. Colloid particles give water clarity without any chemical treatment.
- Granules keep their shape and density underwater, so the substrate stays structurally sound.
- Its size and density encourage fast development of healthy root systems, unlike conventional substrates such as sand.
- Granules provide a constant air supply, which is vital for the long-term upkeep of a planted aquarium.
- Makes growing difficult plants easier.
- Made from natural materials.
How to Use
Dymax Base Soil can be used straight from the packet, with no pre-treatment needed. It forms the foundation of a planted aquarium, so it is the most fundamental item to get right when planning your planted setup.
