The UltraZap UV Clarifier tackles this problem head-on. It employs UV radiation to effectively eradicate free-floating algae, keeping your pond clear and healthy throughout the year. As the phototropic micro-organisms, such as single-celled algae, are exposed to UV radiation, their growth is halted and future proliferation is prevented.
Notably, the UltraZap UV Clarifiers are engineered to ensure the absolute safety of your pond's inhabitants and the surrounding environment. Unlike chemical algaecides that run the risk of over-treatment or residual build-up, our UV Clarifiers pose no such risks, making it a safe and eco-friendly solution.
We offer four different units - 8 Watt, 15 Watt, 30 Watt, and 55 Watt - to cater to various pond sizes. Our UV sterilizers emit a broad spectrum of UV light, with a significant part at the germicidal wavelength of 253.7nm, renowned for its optimal micro-organism destruction capabilities.
Please note: While our UV Clarifiers are designed for outdoor use, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight or rain. Proper sheltering against weather conditions is recommended. We also urge you to ensure a qualified electrician is entrusted with the installation.
Be aware that while we diligently test all UV light tubes and ballasts prior to dispatch, they unfortunately carry no warranty due to their sensitivity to power surges, which can lead to potential damage.
