Why Colour Your Way With the Blade

This is a different kind of strip light. The clustered, wide-angle LEDs give a smooth blanket of illumination rather than a harsh, spotty pattern. Combine 3 or more Blade strips and the shadowing is eliminated, giving light distribution comparable to traditional T5 fixtures with greater efficiency. You can also run a Blade with any existing light fixture to fill in dark areas and even out the coverage.

The Coral Glow Spectrum

The Blade comes in four spectrums: Coral Grow, Coral Glow, Refugium and Freshwater. The Coral Glow model is the one built to showcase fluorescence. It works best as a supplemental source of "pop", either paired with a Blade Coral Grow or used to augment your current lighting.

How to Use

• Choose the length that suits your tank and fit it with the supplied Tank Rest or Mounting Clips, or with one of the optional mounting solutions below.
• Connect the power adapter. The cable is 3 m (9.8') long.
• Control the light wirelessly from an iOS or Android device with the free myAI or Mobius app, both available on Google Play and the App Store.
• In the app you can customise spectrum intensity, set custom schedules for each light, or pick one of the in-app templates.
• Use the onboard controls on the fixture to cycle through spectrums without the app.

Mounting Options

• Tank Rest: a low-profile mount that sits directly on top of the tank and extends up to 11.4 cm (4.5") on either side of the fixture. Included with all Blade lights up to 39" (99 cm).
• Mounting Clips: included with all Blade lights over 39" (99 cm). They are compatible with the AI HMS Single Arm Mount and HMS Hanging Kit rails.
• Elevated Tank Rest: a sturdy tank mount for rimmed or rimless tanks. Compared to the standard Tank Rest, it increases light spread and gives easier access into the aquarium.
• Hanging Kit: made from brushed aluminium with a black finish, for suspending the Blade above the aquarium. It also lets you mount 3, 4 or 6 light bars in parallel for increased coverage and a streamlined look.
• Hybrid Mount: combines Blade strips with one or more AquaIllumination Hydra or EcoTech Radion pendant fixtures.
• HMS Adapter Arm: another mounting route for the Blade.
• Custom Mounting: M8 mounting threads at each end let you build your own mount.
