How to Use

Mount the Nero with the included two-part magnetic system. An inner magnet and an outer magnet couple together through the glass (see the model specifications for maximum glass thickness). The pump then sits in the beveled inner magnet, giving an isolated and quiet mounting. You get around 15° of movement, so you can angle the Nero to direct flow where your tank needs it.

Control the pump through the myai app over Bluetooth, or with the single-button controller. The flow modes are:

• Random: The Nero randomly changes its flow rate throughout the day, creating natural water movement through your reef tank.
• Pulse: Creates a standing wave. The pulse interval and the maximum flow rate can both be changed to harmonise with your aquarium. A wave can add stress to an aquarium, but it is a great way to lift settled detritus from hard-to-reach areas.
• Constant: Set the flow rate and the Nero keeps flowing at that speed until you change the mode or flow.
• Schedule: Build a schedule that uses multiple flow modes. In the myai app this can be done in minutes.
• Feed: Hold the driver button for 2-5 seconds to put the Nero into feed mode for 10 minutes. This is handy if you target feed.
• All-off: Hold the driver button for 6 or more seconds to turn the pump off. Touching the button again restarts the pump, so you decide when it comes back on.
