Koi Life Anti Bac General Pond Treatment is a pond medication for treating slime disease, skin flukes, external bacterial ulcers and Myxobacter gill disease in pond fish. It also works as a general tonic that lowers the overall bacterial count in your pond water. It is suited to South African koi and goldfish keepers who want one treatment for common external problems and for routine pond care.

How to Use

Pond treatment:

• Work out the volume of your pond in litres and weigh out the required amount of powder (see Dosage).
• Dilute the measured amount in 1 litre of warm water.
• Spread the solution evenly over the pond surface.
• Repeat the treatment after 3 days, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive treatments.

Bath treatment (for severe problems):

• Prepare a separate container of pond water and make sure it is well aerated.
• Add the bath dose (see Dosage) and place the affected fish in the bath for 60 minutes.
• Return the fish to the pond after the bath.
• Repeat the bath treatment after 3 days, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive treatments.

Routine use: Use Anti-Bac when introducing new fish to your pond, or on a monthly basis as part of regular pond maintenance.

Dosage

• Pond dose: 3–10 gram per 1000 litre of pond water, diluted in 1 litre of warm water before application.
• Bath dose (severe problems): 10 gram per 200 litre of well aerated water, for 60 minutes.
• Treatment course: Repeat after 3 days, for a maximum of 3 consecutive treatments. This applies to both the pond and bath methods.
