The API® AMMONIA TEST KIT measures ammonia to help prevent fish loss, as ammonia is the number one stressor and killer of tropical fish. Ammonia is released into an aquarium in the forms of uneaten food, decaying organic matter, and when fish release it through their gills, urine, and solid waste.

The API AMMONIA TEST KIT is a mercury-free, salicylate test for fresh and saltwater fish, and measures ammonia levels from 0 to 8 ppm.

FAQ

Is it correct for the #2 bottle in the API AMMONIA TEST KIT to have a slightly bigger hole in the spout than the #1 does? I’m concerned my test kit isn’t accurate because of this.

The dropper tips are all the same, but the viscosity of the liquids is different. Drops may appear to be larger coming out due to the thickness of the drop.

Delivery times to lockers and pickup locations typically range from 2–7 working days, depending on your location.*

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
