Understanding pH

pH measures how acidic or alkaline your water is. A value of 7.0 is neutral, readings above 7.0 are alkaline, and readings below 7.0 are acidic. Different fish need different pH levels to stay healthy, so test your aquarium water regularly and check that your pH falls where your fish need it to be.

How to Use

• Test your aquarium water with an API pH Test Kit to find the current pH.
• If the pH is too high, add the dose of pH Down according to the dosage rate below.
• Take another pH reading before adding any further dose.
• Be careful with the size of each change. Some fish may be sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24 hour period, so changes of this magnitude should be made with extreme care.

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
