Understanding pH

pH measures how acidic or alkaline your water is. A value of 7.0 is neutral, readings above 7.0 are alkaline and readings below 7.0 are acidic. Different fish need different pH levels to stay healthy, so regular testing is the only way to know whether your water sits where it should. If a reading comes back too low, pH Up lets you correct it in measured steps.

How to Use

• Test the pH of your aquarium water first with an API pH Test Kit.
• If the pH needs to go up, add the dose calculated for your tank volume (see Dosage below).
• Take another pH reading before adding any further dose of pH Up.
• Go carefully with the size of each change. Some fish are sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24 hour period, so changes of this size should be made with extreme care.

Dosage

• Add 1 ml for each 10 gallons of aquarium water.
• Metric dosing: add 1 ml for each 38 L of aquarium water.
• It can be used once daily, but always test the pH between doses.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
