How to Use

• Rinse the filter medium several times with tank water before use.
• It is suggested to pour nitrifying bacteria onto the filter medium before opening the filter.
• Where conditions permit, do not use a net bag in order to achieve better filtration performance.
• Never clean or replace all filter media in one operation.
• Do not clean the media too rigorously, as the bacteria cultures must not be completely destroyed; otherwise, re-colonisation will be retarded.
