Bio Block is made of an ultra high surface area ceramic. The open porosity resulting in minimum corrosion and higher flow rate without clogging. Create the ideal colonization conditions for beneficial bacteria.
The ceramic media is chemically indert, stable and does not alter water parameters. Suit-able for both freshwater and saltwater environments.
The water flow can directly penetrate the inside of bio block, and the aging bacterial membrane can be discharged in time, without accumulating residual bacterial membrane, do not occupying space, and prolonging the service life of bio block.
