Aquaforest Carbon
Aquaforest Carbon is used to remove impurities, medication residues, and harmful substances from both fresh and saltwater aquariums, significantly improving water clarity and quality.
A high-quality activated granular carbon. It immediately removes impurities from the water that color or cloud the water, significantly improving clarity. It also removes medication residues and compounds accumulated in water. Unlike the phosphorus acid-activated media available on the market, this Carbon is activated by steam, so it doesn’t contain any phosphate. Aquaforest Carbon effectively removes all harmful substances resulting from the “chemical war” between corals, making it ideal for mixed-reef aquariums. It also perfectly fits the needs of ULNS aquariums that are heavily stocked with SPS corals.
With the Aquaforest Probiotic system or any other system that creates an Ultra Low Nutrient System (ULSN) will require carbon to keep toxins and other unwanted chemicals from building up in the aquarium. Carbon is used in all types of fresh or saltwater tanks because of its ability to remove smells and particles that would discolor keeping your tank as crystal clear as possible. If you use a probiotic system it is highly recommended to use Aquaforest Carbon for the best results and control.
Instructions:
Place 100 mL for every 27 gallons (100 L) of Saltwater into any up flow reactor or media bag . For freshwater use 100 mL of Carbon per 54 gallons (200 L).
Replace Carbon every 4 weeks for best results.
