Low magnesium may leave you unable to maintain proper calcium levels, and it may also lead to a pH that is too low. The recommended magnesium level in reef aquaria is 1180-1460 mg/l (ppm).

How to Use

• Test your water first to check current parameters before adding any magnesium solution.
• Dissolve 10 g of Aquaforest Magnesium Dry in 1000 ml of RODI water to make the solution.
• Set the dose from your water test results and your corals' daily consumption.
• If you are adding a calcium solution, add it slowly to a high-flow area of the tank to help reduce precipitation.
• To maintain ionic balance, KH Buffer and Reef Mineral Salt should also be applied.
• Magnesium and Calcium, or Reef Mineral Salt, can be combined into one solution.

Dosage

• Solution strength: 10 g dissolved in 1000 ml RODI water.
• 100 ml of magnesium solution in 100 l of water raises the magnesium level by 1,2 mg/l (ppm).
• Do not raise magnesium by more than 50 ppm per day.
• Always base the actual dose on your test results and your corals' daily consumption.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
