The Aquavitro Sentia Dose Secondary Unit is an add-on peristaltic dosing pump that connects to a Sentia Dose Primary Unit, so you can automate and control dosing schedules for your aquarium from one smartphone app. It suits aquarists who want to add more dosing channels to an existing Sentia Dose setup. This is a secondary doser only: a Primary Unit is required and sold separately.

How to Use

• Connect the Secondary Unit to your Primary Unit. Remove the side panels and slide the units you need into place.
• Control every connected doser from the Sentia® app on your smartphone. The app also manages multiple aquariums and devices.
• Mount the unit with the removable mounting bracket, or place it on a horizontal surface. The bracket isn't necessary on a horizontal surface, but it also works as a pedestal in that orientation.
• Rotate the head to any of its 8 locking positions to suit your mounting orientation and line routing.
• For automatic setup, scan the barcode of a compatible Seachem or AquaVitro product. The app then sets up dosing based on your aquarium volume.
• You can dose manually using the pump itself, or run an Instant Dose from the app at any time.

Dosing Modes

• Quick Adjust: Incremental changes in the aquarium are best practice. Use Quick Adjust to make small percentage adjustments to the dose.
• Suggested: Autofills the correct dosage and an appropriate schedule directly from your water volume, for compatible Seachem and AquaVitro products.
• Calculated: Perform a water test, then enter your measured and desired levels. The app calculates and adjusts your dosing schedule to compensate for the difference between the two, for compatible Seachem and AquaVitro products.
• Adaptive: Perform a water test, then enter your measured and desired levels. The app works out how much more or less to dose and adjusts the schedule for you. It can perform a catch-up dose over 48 hours or suspend dosing as needed, to adjust levels faster in a safe manner. It also sets a reminder to test again in a week so you can keep refining your dosing consistently.

Dosage

The manufacturer gives no fixed dose, because the amount depends on the product you dose and your system. The app lets you build schedules with full control over:

• Days of the week, time of day and doses per day.
• Total volume and volume per dose. If you know the total amount and the number of doses per day, the app does the rest.
• A day interval (for example, every 2 days) or specific days of the week (for example, Mondays and Thursdays).
• Dose frequency, from once an hour or once a day to as often as once every minute.

You can also have the app suggest a dosing schedule automatically, or create your own.
