BOYU Air Curtain

BOYU Air Curtain

BOYU Air Curtain is a flexible black air tube curtain built to deliver air reliably and efficiently to your aquarium, so your fish and other aquatic pets get the oxygen they need. It connects to your air pump to create a steady bubble wall, and suits South African hobbyists running freshwater community tanks, planted aquascapes or saltwater set-ups. BOYU is an established name in aquarium supplies, and this air accessory is designed for dependable, everyday aeration.

Key Benefits

• Reliable, efficient air delivery: Designed to provide consistent airflow into the tank, helping keep oxygen levels healthy for fish and aquatic plants.
• Durable, flexible construction: Made from tough yet pliable black plastic that bends easily into position for simple installation and long-lasting use.
• Secure, leak-proof seal: A sturdy black end cap closes off the tube for a tight fit, so air is released along the curtain rather than escaping from the end.
• Universal fit: Works with most standard aquarium air pumps and air accessories, so it usually slots into an existing set-up without extra adaptors.
• Discreet black finish: The black tubing blends in against gravel, dark substrates and black background panels, keeping attention on the bubbles and your livestock.
• Easy to open, clear guidance: Supplied in a bright blue, easy-to-open pack with instructions in both English and Chinese.
• From a trusted brand: BOYU is well known in the aquarium industry for quality and innovation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the BOYU Air Curtain in a marine tank?
Yes. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, so it works in tropical community tanks as well as marine set-ups.

Will it fit the air pump I already have?
It is designed to be compatible with most standard aquarium air pumps and accessories, so it should connect to the majority of common pumps used by hobbyists.

Which length should I choose?
The range comes in 30cm, 45cm, 60cm and 75cm lengths. Measure the inside length of your tank and pick the option that fits comfortably along the back or base without crowding decor or equipment.

Does the end of the tube leak air?
The curtain has a sturdy black end cap that gives a tight, leak-proof fit, so air is directed out along the curtain rather than escaping from the end.

Is extra aeration useful during South African summers?
Warm water holds less dissolved oxygen, so many local hobbyists add aeration during hot months. The air curtain provides consistent airflow that helps maintain healthy oxygen levels for fish and plants.

Are instructions included in English?
Yes. The air curtain comes in an easy-to-open blue pack with instructions in both English and Chinese.
