Bubble Magus Automatic Sump Filter Rollers G2 are an automatic roll-type sump filter for marine and freshwater aquariums and coral systems. They remove suspended particles such as detritus, uneaten food and organic waste from the water column without traditional filter socks. The G2 design has a smaller footprint, which suits aquarists who want mechanical filtration that manages itself inside a compact sump.

How to Use

Water from the aquarium system's drain is fed into the internal chamber, where it passes through the filter roll. The roll traps debris and impurities. As the roll clogs, the water level in the chamber rises. The water level switch then triggers the motor to wind the roll on to a new, clean section. The water level drops and the cycle repeats whenever the roll clogs again.

Installation uses the 1" I.D inlet pipe and the flexible pipe that comes with it. The unit is designed to be mounted inside the sump.

Do these filter rollers replace filter socks?
Yes. The system is designed to remove the need for filter socks. Water passes through a roll of non-woven filter material that advances automatically.

How does the roll know when to advance?
As the roll clogs, the water level in the internal chamber rises. The water level switch then triggers the 12v DC motor to wind on a fresh section of roll. Once the level drops, the cycle repeats as needed.

Can I use it on a freshwater aquarium, or only marine?
Both. It is intended for marine aquariums, freshwater aquariums and coral systems.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
