Chihiros Filter Hose Pro 3 Meters

Chihiros Filter Hose Pro is a food-grade silicone aquarium filter hose for hobbyists who want tubing that stays flexible in cold weather and keeps a clean interior. It is designed for aquarium use and built to cope with temperature changes, so it suits South African setups that run through cool winter nights as well as warm summer days.

Key Benefits

• Food-grade silicone construction, colourless and tasteless.
• Not affected by hot or cold temperatures, so it stays workable through the seasons.
• Service life of more than 10 years.
• Special surface spraying process gives a soft, smooth texture that does not pick up dust easily.
• Grey finish with a more refined look, and you don't have to worry about cleaning algae from inside the pipe.

Why Silicone Instead of PVC?

Common PVC filter hoses harden when the weather turns cold in winter, which makes them difficult to install. The silicone is also colourless and tasteless, and it is rated for a service life of more than 10 years.
