How to Use

• Place the pump on a flat surface in a well-ventilated location. A rubber mat or towel underneath reduces noise further.
• Adding a cooling fan nearby can help extend the pump's lifespan.
• Prevent water backflow, which can damage the pump, by installing check valves or by placing the pump at least 25 cm (10") higher than the water surface.
• Connect air stones or tubing to the diverter outlets. If you are not using every outlet, close the spare ones so the outlets in use keep supplying air consistently and with steady pressure.
• Use the pump in dry or lightly damp environments for the longest service life. Do not submerge it, and do not expose it to heavy rain for extended periods.
• Keep the pump away from flammable materials.
• Operating temperature range: 0°C–38°C (32°F–100°F).

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Unplug the pump before any maintenance, or if you notice abnormal noise, overheating or reduced airflow.
• Reduced airflow is usually caused by a clogged air stone, where algae, floating debris and mineral deposits build up in the pores.
• If airflow drops, try blowing through the air stone yourself. If that is difficult, replace the air stone.
• If the pump stops working because the diaphragm has broken down, replace the diaphragm.

How do I choose between the different models?
Air volume and outlet count rise with the wattage. The 18W has 6 outlets and 475 GPH (30 L/min). The 25W has 8 outlets and 800 GPH (50 L/min). The 40W has 17 outlets and 1270 GPH (80 L/min). The 105W (HG125-160) has 46 outlets and 2550 GPH (160 L/min). Count how many air stones or tubing lines you need to run, then pick the model with enough outlets and airflow.

How do I stop water flowing back into the pump?
Fit check valves on the air lines, or place the pump at least 25 cm (10") above the water surface. Backflow can damage the pump.

Can I use it outdoors on a pond?
Yes, it can be used outdoors in light rain, but it is not fully waterproof. Do not submerge it or leave it in heavy rain for long periods. A dry or lightly damp spot gives the longest life.

Why has the airflow dropped?
The usual cause is a clogged air stone, blocked by algae, debris or mineral deposits. Unplug the pump, then try blowing through the stone. If it is hard to blow through, replace the stone.

Do I need to use all the outlets?
No. Close any outlets you are not using so the active ones keep supplying air at consistent pressure.

Is it normal for the pump to get warm?
A little warming during operation is normal. The aluminium alloy shell and air vents help dissipate heat, and a well-ventilated spot is best, particularly in warm weather. A cooling fan nearby can help extend its lifespan. Unplug the pump if it overheats or makes abnormal noise, and keep it within its 0°C–38°C operating range.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
