How to Use

• Before first use: soak the probe in water for two minutes to activate it, before both use and calibration.
• Measuring: turn on the switch and put the probe into the water without exceeding the max level. Stir gently so the small glass ball is fully in contact with the liquid, wait for the readings to stabilise, then read the values. Press "HOLD" to lock the value.
• Calibrating pH: use the included pH buffers for auto-calibration. Immerse the electrode in the solution, press and hold the "CAL" button and wait for the LED to flash 3 times to confirm calibration.
• After use: rinse the probe with distilled water, dry it and replace the cap.
• Batteries: replace the LR44 batteries when the display dims or readings become inconsistent.
• Safe placement: keep the control buttons and battery compartment away from water. Only the probe is water-resistant.
• Regular checks: test your water frequently to keep aquarium conditions stable and support the health of your plants and fish.

Do I need to calibrate it before first use?
TDS and EC are calibrated at the factory and can be used out of the box. For pH, the meter comes with three buffer powders (4.00, 6.86 and 9.18) for auto-calibration. Soak the probe in water for two minutes first.

How do I calibrate the pH reading?
Immerse the electrode in the buffer solution, press and hold the "CAL" button, and wait for the LED to flash 3 times to confirm calibration.

Can I use it in my freshwater aquarium or pond?
Yes. It is designed for freshwater aquariums and ponds, as well as swimming pools, spas, RO systems, drinking water and hydroponics. Testing often helps you keep conditions stable for your fish and plants.

Can I submerge the whole meter?
No. Only the probe is water-resistant. Keep the control buttons and battery compartment away from water, and do not exceed the max level when immersing the probe.

How do I keep a reading once I take the meter out of the water?
Press the "HOLD" button once the reading has stabilised. The one-button lock keeps the value on screen even after the meter is removed from the sample.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
