Maxspect Nano-Tech Chitin Infused Bio-Spheres are used to break down pollutants in freshwater aquariums, stimulate the growth of nitrifying bacteria colonies, and improve water clarity.
Maxspect Nano-Tech Bio-Spheres are made with inert ceramic materials. Added ingredients provide different characteristics, and fire cured above 2300°F, resulting in a very strong and stable bio-media that lasts for years.
