Montego Karoo Cat Chicken and Lamb 2kg

Montego Karoo Cat Chicken and Lamb 2kg

Montego Karoo Cat Chicken and Lamb 2kg is a super-premium, limited ingredient cat food made for adult cats. It offers balanced nutrition with a low carbohydrate formulation that uses rice as its only grain. It also supports muscle health, helps manage hairballs, supports urinary tract health and reinforces natural defences.

Key Benefits

• Low carbohydrate formulation using only rice: a single-grain, high-quality, highly digestible carbohydrate that provides all-day energy.
• Energy-sustaining protein from chicken: provides energy and is a natural source of taurine, an amino acid critical to cats, which also supports tissue repair.
• Strength-building protein from lamb: adds flavour and texture, and supplies essential amino acids that are crucial to developing and maintaining strong, healthy muscles.
• Balanced microbiome: natural dietary citrus fibre and beet pulp nourish the gut and stimulate a balanced microbiome, encouraging beneficial bacteria in the digestive system.
• Omega-6 and omega-3 from animal fats and fish oils: omega-6 (from chicken) and omega-3 (from fish oil) fatty acids nourish your cat's skin, regulating oil production and improving hydration. The encapsulated fatty acids are also essential for reducing stool odour.
• Hairball management: fish oil aids in the prevention of shedding, while dietary insoluble cellulose may enhance intestinal transit rates, reducing the severity of hairballs in long-haired cats.
• Urinary tract health: balanced nutrition, including a lower dietary magnesium level, maintains a reduced urinary pH and stimulates water consumption. This dilutes your cat's urine and lowers the risk of struvite crystals.
• Reinforced natural defences: inactivated yeast balances the immune system, while freeze-dried melon juice and pulp protect cells from free radicals, supporting well-being and the anti-ageing of the immune system.
