NT Labs AxoTonic provides a a balanced salt mixture that adjusts the pH, KH and GH of your tap water, or DI/RO water while also adding trace elements vital for aiding Axolotl health. AxoTonic Salt Mixture creates the optimal water conditions for your Axolotl which not only supports recovery from fungal infections but also helps reduce their occurrence. NT Labs AxoTonic should be added to your aquarium during set up and when adding fresh tap water such as during a water change.
How to Use:
Firstly calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres (length x width x depth (in cm)/1000).
Next test the GH of your aquarium water using the NT Labs Hardness Test Kit or Aquarium Lab Multi Test Kit. The GH result will affect the required dose rate - see packaging for appropriate dose rates. Make sure to shake the bag thoroughly prior to treatment.
Notes:
When adding to a new aquarium, fill with water and add the required dose directly to the aquarium. If the aquarium already contains an Axolotl, add this dose slowly over the course of 5 days to avoid stressing the Axolotl.
When completing a water change, calculate the volume of new water being added and mix the required dose to the new water. The required dose is only for the volume of new water being added. Do not dose for the full aquarium volume.
