Red Sea NanoMat Replacement Roll (2-Pack) is used for mechanical filtration in reef systems, with each roll lasting approximately four weeks in moderately stocked environments.
The lifespan of each 105-foot roll of filter fleece will vary based on factors like system size, bio-load, feeding schedule, and initial water quality. However, in a moderately stocked reef system, you can expect it to last approximately four weeks. Rolls will generally wear out more quickly in bare-bottom tanks. Additionally, the usage rate may be notably higher during the first few weeks after installing a ReefMat, as your system adapts to the new level of mechanical filtration.
