However, in a moderately stocked reef system, you can expect it to last approximately four weeks. Rolls will generally wear out more quickly in bare-bottom tanks. Additionally, the usage rate may be notably higher during the first few weeks after installing a ReefMat, as your system adapts to the new level of mechanical filtration.
