Water Level Sensor

The sensor has multiple probes built into it, so the ReefBeat app can always show an indication of the actual water level. A built-in backup sensor sits 2.5 cm (1") above the primary sensors. If the water ever rises that far, it automatically shuts down the ATO pump to protect against an overfill.

Temperature Monitoring

• The temperature sensor is integrated into the ATO+ sensor and is pre-calibrated to an accuracy of ±0.1°.
• In the ReefBeat app you can set a narrow "desired" temperature range and a slightly wider "acceptable" range. Both appear online in the app and in the full temperature logs.
• If the temperature moves outside the acceptable range, a notification is sent to your smartphone.
• Detailed logs show the minimum, maximum and average temperatures at 15-minute intervals for the past 28 days.

ATO Pump

• Quiet, variable-flow 12 vdc ATO pump
• Diameter of just 4.6 cm (1.8"), so it fits inside small ATO reservoir openings
• Maximum flow rate 75 gph, maximum head 2.4 m (8'), power 6–10 W
• Pump speed is automatically adjusted to suit your installation, holding a flow rate of approximately 18 gph. This keeps the flow into the sump splashproof and quiet.
• The pump performance monitor in the controller shuts the pump down automatically and alerts you through the ReefBeat app if the pump is disconnected, stalls, or the RO reservoir runs dry.
• The noise-damping rubber impellor chamber cover and the impellor can be removed for pump maintenance.
• A locknut on the outlet hose barb gives a secure connection to the silicone tubing.

Leak Detector

If the highly sensitive leak detector senses a leak, the ATO auto-fill is disabled immediately. After a few seconds to confirm that the leak persists, the controller sounds an optional audible alarm and sends a notification to your mobile device. You can also connect the leak detector to the aquarium's Emergency Quick-action. The ReefBeat ecosystem will then automatically shut down other ReefBeat devices, such as ReefRun return pumps.

What stops the system from overfilling my sump?

How much temperature history can I see?

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
