How to Use

• Set the water level within the recommended water height for your model (see Specifications). The water level control is designed to be easy to tune.
• Watch the foam through the FoamView window to see how it collects in the neck.
• When build-up appears on the neck walls, turn the integrated neck cleaner by hand.
• To empty the collection cup, turn the valve on the drain line. You can also connect the hose to an external waste collector.
• If space in your sump is tight, choose the pump orientation that fits best. The footprint changes depending on how the pump is oriented inside the skimmer body.

How do I choose between the Reefer 300, 600 and 900?
Match the model to your tank volume and bioload. For a heavy bioload, which is the most common, the recommended tank volumes are up to 284 litres (75 gal) for the Reefer 300, 568 litres (150 gal) for the Reefer 600 and 908 litres (240 gal) for the Reefer 900. Lighter bioloads allow larger tanks per model.

Does a pump come with the skimmer?
Yes. Every Reefer skimmer includes a Sicce PSK pump, along with the air silencer and pump feed hose.

How do I empty the collection cup?
Turn the valve on the included cup-drain tube. The 1 metre (39") drain hose with valve can also be connected to an external waste collector.

What does the FoamView window do?
