The Resun LP Low Noise High Pressure Air Pump is a quiet, affordable electromagnetic diaphragm air pump for fish and koi ponds, aquariums and other water-aeration jobs. It suits pond keepers who want plenty of air without a noisy compressor, and it comes in two output levels to match different pond sizes.

How to Use

• Place the pump in a low-dust environment. Light rain or sprinkling is tolerated, but it should not be left in dusty conditions.
• Set the pump up above the water level, or fit a check valve in the air line so water cannot siphon back into the pump.
• Connect 4 mm (0.16") silicone air line to the manifold outlets and run it to your air stones or diffusers.
• Keep some back pressure on the unit, for example by running air stones in the water. This extends the life of the rubber diaphragms.

Can I use this pump outdoors on a pond?
Yes, with care. It is rated IPX4, so it tolerates rain and light sprinkling, but it should still be housed in a low-dust environment.

Do I need a check valve?
The pump must either sit above the water level or be fitted with a check valve. This stops water from running back down the air line into the pump.

Why does the pump need back pressure?
Back pressure extends the life of the rubber diaphragms. Running the pump into submerged air stones provides it.

Which model suits my pond?
The LP-20 delivers up to 1320 L/hr and suits smaller fish and koi ponds. The LP-40 delivers up to 3000 L/hr and suits the vast majority of fish and koi ponds. It also suits applications such as natural swimming ponds and deepwater septic tank aeration.

How deep can I place air stones?

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
