Seachem Discus Buffer is a freshwater aquarium buffer for Discus keepers who want to adjust and maintain low-pH, soft-water conditions. It is designed to help replicate the preferred Discus environment by targeting a pH range of 5.8 to 6.8 while lowering general hardness (GH).

Dosage

Use 1 level teaspoon (7 g) for every 40-80 L (10-20 gallons*) daily until the intended pH is reached. Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes as required to maintain pH.

How to Use

For raising pH, use Seachem Neutral Regulator™. To target a particular pH, use Discus Buffer™ together with Neutral Regulator™ according to the manufacturer’s ratio chart. The chart is intended for unbuffered RO or DI water; where water is already buffered, use it as a starting point. Dechlorinate tap water with Seachem Prime® before carrying out a water change.

Compatibility

• Use with Seachem Neutral Regulator™ when targeting a specific pH during water changes or when adding top-off water.
• Use Seachem Discus Trace™ to restore trace elements required by Discus.
• Suitable for use with RO or DI water, where there is generally no buffering capacity.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
