Seachem Matrix is a high-porosity biological filter media for aquarium owners who want to support biofiltration in freshwater or marine aquatic environments. This inert, porous inorganic media provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria that process ammonia, nitrite and nitrate within the same filter.

How to Use

Place Seachem Matrix directly into the filter. It is sufficiently large that a filter bag is not required for most applications. It is particularly effective in canister filters and also works in drip tray systems. Use with Seachem Stability to establish the bio-filter more rapidly.

Dosage

Use 250 mL of Matrix for each 100 L (25 US gallons) of aquarium water.

Compatibility

Compatible with all wet and wet-dry filtration systems, including canister filters and drip tray systems. For drip tray applications, the larger Pond Matrix may be better suited.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
