Seachem Neutral Regulator
Seachem Neutral Regulator is a freshwater aquarium water conditioner for fishkeepers who need to adjust and maintain water at neutral pH 7.0. It works from either low or high pH, while conditioning replacement water and helping create a stable environment for freshwater fish acclimated to neutral water.
Key Benefits
- Adjusts and buffers freshwater aquarium pH to neutral pH 7.0.
- Works to bring pH towards 7.0 from either an acidic or alkaline starting point.
- Softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium.
- Removes chlorine and chloramine, and binds ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
- Contains phosphate buffers and conditioning agents.
- Supports slime coat production.
How to Use
Seachem Neutral Regulator may be added directly to the aquarium at any time. For best use during water changes or when adding water, dissolve it in the replacement water before adding it to the aquarium. Its conditioning action means additional conditioning is unnecessary when using this product.
Dosage
Use 1 level teaspoon for every 40–80 L (10–20 gallons*) once or twice a month, or as necessary to maintain a pH of 7.0.
Compatibility
To lower pH below 7.0, use Neutral Regulator with Seachem Acid Regulator or Discus Buffer. To raise pH above 7.0, use it with Seachem Alkaline Regulator.
Suitable For
Suitable for freshwater aquariums and all freshwater fish that are acclimated to neutral pH.
