Seachem Pond Prime is a complete, concentrated pond conditioner for decorative ponds, ideal for pond keepers preparing new water or adding and changing water. It removes chlorine and chloramine while detoxifying ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and heavy metals commonly found in tap water at typical concentrations.

How to Use

Use when setting up a new pond, adding water or carrying out a water change. A sulphur odour is normal.

Dosage

• For chlorine or chloramine removal: use 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) for each 600–700 US gallons.
• For high ammonia or nitrite concentrations: use 1/4 to 1/2 cup for each 600 US gallons.
• For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
• For emergency nitrite detoxification, up to 5 times the normal dose may be used.
• If the temperature is above 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
