Seachem Reef Builder is a marine aquarium alkalinity supplement for reef keepers who need to raise carbonate alkalinity (KH) with minimal impact on pH. This 300 g (0.66 lb) marine conditioner is formulated for systems where carbonate availability is important for coral growth and ongoing reef aquarium maintenance.

How to Use

Dissolve the required amount in at least 250 mL (1 cup) of freshwater before adding to the aquarium. Test total alkalinity every two weeks and adjust the amount or frequency as needed. Seachem MultiTest: Marine pH & Alkalinity may be used to measure total alkalinity.

Dosage

• Beginner: Use 3 g (half a level teaspoon) per 150 L (40 gallons) twice weekly.
• Advanced: Test alkalinity and follow the beginner addition regimen until alkalinity reaches 4–5 meq/L. Each 3 g per 150 L raises alkalinity by about 0.25 meq/L. Do not exceed 12 g per 150 L per day.
• Expert: For continuous drip dosing, use m=0.08va, where m is grams to add to top-off water, v is aquarium volume in litres, and a is the desired alkalinity increase in meq/L.

Compatibility

Seachem Reef Builder and Seachem Reef Buffer may be used together. Use Reef Builder to raise carbonate alkalinity without affecting pH, while Reef Buffer raises both carbonate alkalinity and pH.

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
