What It Does

This advanced slime coat support product helps fish cope better with stressful events while also reducing the effects of ammonia toxicity. It is especially useful when moving fish, introducing new livestock, after netting, or when fish have minor injuries, scrapes or abrasions.

How It Works

Seachem StressGuard contains protein-active colloids that attach to exposed protein on wounds and damaged tissue. This helps deliver the product directly where it is needed and forms a protective, bandage-like layer over abrasions while the healing process begins.

Compatibility

StressGuard is compatible with all medications except copper-based treatments. It is not amine-based, so it will not interfere with Purigen or HyperSorb regeneration. It also does not coat filter media or clog filtration equipment the way some slime coat products can.

Dosage

Use 1/2 to 1 capful (2.5-5 mL) for every 40 L (10 US gallons) daily until signs of stress have eased or healing is complete. The dose may be safely doubled when required.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
