Seachem Discus Buffer is used to adjust and maintain the pH of aquarium water to replicate the ideal environment for Discus fish, specifically targeting a pH range of 5.8 to 6.8 while softening the water.

Seachem Discus Buffer helps to replicate the ideal Discus environment (low pH & low GH (General Hardness)). Discus Buffer™ will lower pH and keep it lowered. Discus Buffer™ also softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. Use Discus Trace™ to restore the proper level of trace elements required by a thriving, healthy Discus.

Neutral Regulator™ and Discus Buffer™ can be used in combination to achieve the desired pH when performing water changes or adding top-off water. The ratio chart below is designed for r/o water where there is generally no buffering capacity.

Directions

Use 1 level teaspoon (7 g) for every 40-80 L (10-20 gallons*) daily until the intended pH is reached. Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes as required to maintain pH. To raise pH, use Neutral Regulator™. To target a particular pH use in combination with Neutral Regulator™ following the chart below. This chart assumes the use of unbuffered water (RO or DI). If water is already buffered use the chart as a starting guide. Use Prime® to dechlorinate tap water before doing a water change.

Delivery times to lockers and pickup locations typically range from 2–7 working days, depending on your location.*

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
