Sera Immune Probiotic Granules XS is a probiotic growth and immune food for ornamental fish up to 5 cm (1.9"). The slow-sinking fine granules supply more than 50% protein and contain live probiotic bacteria that stabilise the intestinal flora. It supports healthy growth, strong development and brilliant colouration in small aquarium fish and breeding stock, and helps reduce water pollution.

Sera introduced its probiotic ornamental fish food in 2018. It was the first to contain the intestinal flora stabiliser Bacillus velezensis (formerly B. subtilis). The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) expressly recommends this strain for use in ornamental fish food to improve growth and food utilisation. The probiotics are applied to the granules in a particularly gentle procedure. Fish therefore receive the bacteria with every feed, and the food is used more efficiently. Less undigested food and fewer waste products end up in the water. This matters in South African aquariums, where warm summer temperatures can speed up the breakdown of waste and place extra strain on filters.
