SOBO AP900 Battery DC Backup Air Pump

SOBO AP900 Battery DC Backup Air Pump

The SOBO AP900 Battery DC Backup Air Pump is a battery-powered emergency air pump that adds oxygen to your aquarium water when the mains supply is cut. It suits fishkeepers who want a safety net for their fish during power outages and load shedding.

Key Benefits

• Automatically supplies air to the water when the AC power supply is cut off, to help protect your fish
• Senses the AC power status by itself, so there is nothing to switch on when the power fails
• Stays idle while the AC supply is normal, so it only works when it is needed
• Runs on 2x D-cell batteries, so it works independently of the mains
• Rated at 2L/M

How It Works

• When the AC power supply is normal, the pump does not run.
• When the AC power supply is cut off, the pump starts automatically and adds oxygen to the water.

Please note that this pump does not run off AC power. It runs on battery power only.

How to Use

• Fit 2x D-cell batteries (sold separately).
• Leave the pump in place as your standby. It senses the AC power status automatically and starts when the supply is cut.

Suitable For

• Aquarium owners who want a backup oxygen source during power cuts
• Fishkeepers in areas with load shedding or unreliable mains power
• Anyone who wants a standby air pump alongside their usual mains-powered aeration
