Description

SOBO Siamese Fighter Betta USB Mini Aquarium Heater 10W

The SOBO Siamese Fighter Betta USB Mini Aquarium Heater 10W is a compact USB-powered heater that holds a stable temperature in small fish tanks under 5 litres (1.3 gal). It is made with Siamese Fighter (Betta splendens) keepers in mind and suits both freshwater and saltwater setups.

Key Benefits

  • Designed for small tanks under 5 litres (1.3 gal), and the 10W rating is also listed for aquariums of 5-10 litres (1.3-2.6 gal).
  • USB-powered with a rated voltage of DC 5V/2A, so it does not need a bulky mains-wired unit.
  • The upgraded chip gives temperature accuracy of ±1°C and helps keep electricity use down.
  • It remembers your setting. If the power is suddenly cut and then restored, the target temperature stays as you set it.
  • The built-in thermometer and overheating protection stop the heater working if the water gets too warm.
  • The external temperature controller lets you adjust the heat without getting your hands wet, and you do not need to buy a separate controller.
  • The 1 m (3.3 ft) power cord makes installation and control easy.

How to Use

  • Power the heater from a USB supply rated 5V/2A.
  • Set your target temperature on the external controller. The adjustable range is 15-34°C.
  • Once set, the heater holds that target, and the setting is kept if power is switched off and on again.

Important: an adapter that is not 5V 2A may stop the heater from heating, make the numbers flash, or cause it to restart repeatedly.

Overheating Protection

  • The built-in thermometer covers a temperature range of 15-34°C.
  • If the water temperature goes above 34°C, the error code "HI" appears and the heater stops working.
  • When the water drops back below 34°C, the error code disappears and the heater starts working again.

It is designed for small tanks under 5 litres (1.3 gal), and the 10W rating is also listed for aquariums of 5-10 litres (1.3-2.6 gal).

Can I use any USB charger to power it?
No. It needs a 5V 2A supply. A different adapter may stop it heating, make the numbers flash, or make it restart repeatedly.
