Tetra Pond AlgoRem is a pond algae treatment for ornamental ponds, designed to clear floating algae (green water) quickly. It suits pond owners who want clear water again and want to stop the algae coming back. Clear water follows within 24 hours, and the treatment also removes the algal nutrient phosphate to help prevent further growth.

How It Works

The formula makes floating algae form clumps. The clumps either sink to the bottom or rise to the surface. There you can remove them by hand, for example with the Tetra Algae Net, or let the filter extract them. Dispose of the removed algae as residual waste.

How to Use

• Before each application, check that the carbonate hardness (KH) of the pond water is at least 6 °dH. This helps maintain a healthy balance in the pond.
• The Tetra Pond Test 7in1 can be used to monitor your water values.
• If the KH is too low, Tetra recommends Tetra Pond WaterStabiliser to raise it.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Measure the dose with the dosing cap and distribute it evenly through the pond water, for example with a stick.
• If required, repeat the application after 24 hours.
• Remove the clumped algae by hand or let the filter take it out, then dispose of it as residual waste.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
