UltraZap Pond Heaters are available in two sizes: 2000W for ponds up to 8000L and 3000W for ponds up to 9000L. They can be connected inline with your existing filter system. For larger ponds, you can connect multiple units.

Ultra Zap Pond Heater Installation & Safety Guidelines

Installation Requirements

·       The heater unit must always be mounted horizontally.

·       The inlet side (the furthest point from the control gear) must face upward to allow trapped air to escape naturally.

·       These units are not waterproof and must be protected from rain, moisture, and direct water exposure.

Important Safety Information

·       The heater must always operate together with a circulation pump.

·       The pump must provide the correct flow rate and should be connected through a contactor, circuit breaker, or suitable electrical protection system.

·       The heater should be installed inline after all mechanical and biological filtration systems.

Plumbing & Air Lock Prevention

·       Air naturally rises and cannot be forced downward by water pressure.

·       All outlet pipework must run vertically upward from the heater or at a level that allows trapped air to escape freely.

·       U-shaped bends or downward loops can trap air and create air locks.

·       If air becomes trapped inside the heater, steam pressure can build up, internal damage may occur, and the heater casing may eventually fail.

Backwash Procedure

·       During sand filter backwashing, the heater must be switched off completely.

·       This can be done by turning the thermostat to zero or using a separate circuit breaker, delay timer, or contactor.

Recommended Protection Systems

·       It is recommended that the system includes flow switches, fail-safe controls, and pump monitoring equipment.

·       These protections help prevent damage or fire in the event that the circulation pump fails, water flow stops, or the pump loses prime after power interruptions.

·       Regular inspection and testing of pumps is strongly advised.

Electrical Installation

·       All electrical work must be completed by a qualified electrician or certified electrical installer.

No more waiting at home or at work for your delivery. Simply choose a collection locker or pickup point and collect your order when it suits you.

Delivery times to lockers and pickup locations typically range from 2–7 working days, depending on your location.*

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
