Whale B-21 Portable Battery Air Pump

Whale B-21 Portable Battery Air Pump

Whale B-21 Portable Battery Air Pump by DARO is a battery-powered aquarium air pump that keeps oxygen flowing to your fish when the mains power fails or when fish are being transported. It is a practical fish-saver for South African fishkeepers dealing with load-shedding, and it suits coldwater, freshwater and marine set-ups alike.

Key Benefits

• Supplies air during electrical power failures, so your tank is not left without aeration when the electricity goes off.
• Well suited to load-shedding, giving you a dependable backup that does not rely on the grid.
• Runs for up to 66 hours on two D alkaline batteries, which is long enough to cover extended outages.
• Portable and battery-driven, so it also works for aerating water while fish are being moved or transported.
• Delivers a maximum airflow of 150 l/h.
• Comes with an air stone and airline tubing, so you have the basics you need to start aerating.

How to Use

• Fit two D alkaline batteries (bought separately) into the pump.
• Connect the supplied airline tubing to the pump and attach the air stone to the other end.
• Place the air stone in the aquarium, transport container or bag, and switch on to start aeration.
• Keep the pump and a spare set of D batteries close at hand so you are ready when load-shedding starts.
