Yips & Yaps Ostrich Short Bone

Yips & Yaps Ostrich Short Bone

Yips & Yaps Ostrich Short Bone is a low-fat, high-protein ostrich dog treat that works as a training reward, an in-between snack and a natural rawhide alternative. It suits dog owners who want to spoil their pets without piling on unnecessary calories.

Key Benefits

• Low in fat and high in protein, so it makes a lean treat option for rewards and snacks.
• A natural rawhide alternative for dogs that love to chew.
• Bones are a good source of minerals and other nutrients, and they help satisfy your dog's appetite and natural need to chew.
• Lean meat is an excellent, balanced source of amino acids, the building blocks of muscle in your dog's body, so meaty treats can add a little good-quality extra protein to the diet.
• Bleach-free and chemical-free chew.
• Proudly South African, made from ostrich raised in the Karoo.

Why Lean Treats Matter
Just like us, dogs love food treats, and just like us, they can end up taking in too many calories from them. That happens when we reward them often, or when they're simply too cute not to spoil. Lean meat with no visible fat and no added sauces or seasonings (chicken, beef, pork and ostrich) makes a great training treat. This ostrich bone gives you a lean, protein-rich option that suits both training sessions and snack time.

How to Use

• Give it as a reward during training, or as an in-betweener between meals.
• Treats should not make up more than 10% of your dog's total diet.
• Never give your dog cooked bones of any kind.

Suitable For

• Dogs that enjoy chewing and need a natural alternative to rawhide.
• Owners looking for a low-fat, high-protein training reward.
• Dogs that get an occasional snack between their regular meals.
