If black beard algae (BBA), hair, string or fuzz algae has taken hold of your scape, APT Fix is the targeted treatment trusted by award-winning aquascapers the world over. Rather than dumping chemicals across your whole tank, you spot-dose exactly where the algae lives — so problem areas get hit hard while the rest of your aquarium carries on undisturbed.

What makes it the smart choice is what happens afterwards. APT Fix contains no copper or heavy metals, which build up over time and quietly damage your tank's ecosystem. Instead, its active compounds biodegrade naturally within 12–24 hours, leaving no nasty residues behind — which is exactly why it's safe for shrimp and fish when used as directed.

The results speak for themselves. On a single spot-dose, inactive BBA typically turns red or white by Day 2 and is mostly gone by Day 7, while hair algae loses its colour within a couple of days and is fully deactivated by around Day 5.

How to use it
Two simple methods cover almost every situation. For algae on plants, pause your filter and spot-dose affected areas with the included pipette. For stubborn algae on hardscape like wood and rocks, drain the tank and drip-dose directly onto the targets, waiting a minute before refilling. Dose up to 1ml per 10L every 24 hours.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
