Follow the dosing directions printed on the bottle label. Measure carefully for your actual water volume, especially in small betta tanks, where even a small overdose has a bigger effect.

Does Betta Care remove chlorine from South African tap water?
Dennerle describes Betta Care as a protective care product for bettas. It is not described as a chlorine or chloramine neutraliser. Most SA municipal water is disinfected, so treat tap water with a dedicated dechlorinator unless the label states otherwise.

Why does it contain tropical almond extract?
Tropical almond tree extract works with natural aloe vera and humic and fulvic acids to protect and care for a betta's sensitive mucous membranes, gills and fins.

Will Betta Care cure fin rot or other diseases?
No. Betta Care is a water care product, not a medication. Its dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of skin and fin damage, but a fish showing signs of disease should be properly diagnosed and treated.
