How to Use

• Work out your pond volume first. Accurate dosing depends on it. Use this formula: length (m) × width (m) × depth (m) × 1000 = volume in litres.
• Measure the correct amount of powder using the level measure provided (see Dosage below).
• Pre-mix in a bucket. Mix the powder in a bucket with some water taken from the pond.
• Spread evenly. Distribute the mixture evenly around the pond rather than tipping it into one spot.
• Keep the water well aerated. Make sure the pond is well aerated during treatment.
• Repeat as needed. For ongoing algae control, the treatment can be repeated every 3–4 weeks.

How do I work out how much Koi Life Algae Control my pond needs?
Multiply length (m) × width (m) × depth (m) × 1000 to get litres, then dose 10g (one level measure) per 1000 litres. For example, a pond measuring 4 m × 2 m × 1 m holds 8,000 litres and needs 80g, which is 8 level measures.

Will it harm my koi or the birds that visit my garden pond?
No. Koi Life states it is harmless to fish, birds, invertebrates and other pond life, and safe for most water plants when used as indicated.

Can I use it in a still pond or bird bath with no pump?
No. The product must not be used in ponds that have no circulation, and the pond should be well aerated during treatment.

How often should I treat my pond?
It can be used every 3–4 weeks to help maintain a clear pond. Regular maintenance dosing is useful through the warmer months, when strong sun encourages algae growth.

Why does it matter that it contains enzymes?
As algae dies off, it decays and can raise ammonia levels. The enzymes help boost your filter and condition the water to help prevent that ammonia build-up.

Match the size to your pond volume. The 200g size treats 20,000 litres and the 1kg size treats 100,000 litres. Larger ponds, or ponds you plan to treat every 3–4 weeks, will go through more product.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
