Neptune Probe Conductivity is a conductivity probe that measures salinity in reef aquariums, helping reef keepers maintain consistent salinity for the well-being of the aquatic organisms in their system. Use it to replace an old probe or to add salinity monitoring to your Apex Aquarium Controller.

How to Use

Connect the probe to the salinity probe port on your Apex Aquarium Controller. If your Apex doesn't have a salinity probe port, you can add one with the separately available PM2 Salinity Module. The PM2 features a salinity probe port, a temperature probe port and an I/O port.

Calibrate the probe with the correct conductivity solution (sold separately):

  • For saltwater: 53000 µS Conductivity Solution
  • For freshwater: 447 µS Conductivity Solution
