A topical antiseptic swab for cleaning and disinfecting open wounds, sores and ulcers on koi and pond fish — the essential first step in effective wound care.

Open wounds and ulcers are a fact of life for koi keepers, and left untreated they're an open door to bacterial and fungal infection. Ulcer Swab is your first line of defence: applied directly to the affected area, it cleans and disinfects the wound so healing can begin. Once the wound is prepped, it can be sealed with NT Labs Propolis Wound Seal to form a long-lasting, waterproof barrier that keeps pond water and pathogens out.

How to use it
Get everything ready before you catch the fish — a container large enough to hold it comfortably, plus extra aeration during treatment. Rest the fish on a damp towel or other soft, wet surface, dry the wound, and apply the swab liberally to the affected area. For the best results, pair it with Koi Calm to settle the fish and Propolis Wound Seal to lock the wound down afterwards.

Complete the routine
Wound care works best as part of a plan: treat the pond itself with Acriflavin to knock back pathogenic bacteria and reduce the risk of re-infection, feed Medikoi Health and Probiotic to support recovery from the inside out, and test your water regularly to keep conditions ideal for healing.

Good to know
Never leave a fish unattended during treatment, and keep the swab well away from the eyes and gills.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.
• Pargo Pickup Points: Collect within 5 days of arrival at the pickup location.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 14 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
